January and February have traditionally been a slower time of year for tourism in the Great Smoky Mountains (the nation’s most visited national park), but new events that have been attracted by the area’s new resorts and attractions are filling what used to be a void.

I recently talked to WVLT-TV (CBS) about some of those changes.
